Inwood House merges with The Children’s Village

December 31, 2016

We are delighted to share the good news that Inwood House has now officially merged with The Children’s Village, an organization that, like Inwood House, is focused on helping teens take charge of their lives. This merger will provide us both with a wider breadth of resources, ensure our financial stability, and make sure that the programming you have nurtured and supported will remain strong and viable for future generations.

Our fact sheet contains further details about the merger; you can learn more about The Children’s Village by visiting ChildrensVillage.org. Please feel free to reach out to either of us if you have questions or would like to learn more. The merger was completed with assistance from the Booth Ferris Foundation and the New York Merger, Acquisition, and Collaboration Fund.

Inwood House has had an impressive impact on New York’s children and families in its 186-year history, and we look forward to enriching that legacy together as we join forces to continue this work. We believe we are stronger together. I hope you will agree, and will continue to support our mission as you’ve so generously done in the past.
